Examples

Squing 2

The Squing 2 is a compact two-wire level switch using the tuning fork principle to measure the filling level in tanks and pipes in any position. The Squing 2 is permanently excited by piezoelectric crystals to vibrate at the natural resonant frequency. Via a third terminal using an open collector or a relay output it can also be connected to a PLC. The intrinsically safe design is fed at low cost by a NAMUR switching repeater.

Solartron Mobrey float level switch

Horizontal or vertical installation.

Very ruggedly built switches for high or low alarm. Ideal for a wide range of liquids in industrial applications. Used for soiled liquids.

In media with coarse dirt or magnetic particles the float level switches are available with encapsulated float magnets.

 

Solartron Mobrey ultrasonic level transmitter
MSP422/MSP400/MSP900

The family of non-contact level transmitters is the latest generation of level meters with two-wire technology by Solartron Mobrey. The series captivates by the universal casing concept with integrated transmitters which can easily be programmed on site.

MSP 422
Basic model up to 8m measuring height; analog output.

MSP 400
in addition, two integrated signal relays for error message; extended measuring range up to 11m. Plus calculation of tank contents or flow in open ducts.

MSP 900
This level transmitter has the same features as the MSP 400 but in addition is certified to ATEX for the intrinsically safe operation in explosive hazardous areas.

The following processes are available to solve problems in industrial flowmetering technology:

Solartron Mobrey Series KB

Plug-in and in-line systems for liquids, gases and steams with built-on differential pressure transmitter. High precision over the entire measuring range with low permanent pressure drop.

Available with pressure and temperature compensation for mass flow metering. For pipes from DN15 to abt. 2m diameter (bigger diameters on request).

Thermal gas mass and flowmeter

Thermal gas mass and flowmeter as immersion meters for installation in pipes/channels or complete pipe metering lines. Direct mass flow metering without separate pressure and temperature correction. Programmable electronics directly built on or in separate casing. High precision by factory calibration; for different gases by correlation calibration.

Extremely fast response time. Measuring from very low flow speeds. High temperature version available for up to 500°C.

Solartron Mobrey Series 7000

Flowmeters for liquids and gases with high precision and short response time. Threaded and flanged models of stainless steel. Pulse output with preamplifier; programmable evaluation electronics.

Solartron Mobrey Serie 300

Solartron Mobrey Serie 300 Solids and turbidity metering for low solids content and turbidity. The MSM 300 measuring transducer can be combined with all Solartron Mobrey infrared sensors and is an attractive solution for measuring dissolved solids and turbidities. The display has big numbers for the measured value and also in combination a running display fort he status of the output. The unit has two relays that can be configured for high, low or error alarm.

The standard casing is designed for outdoor installations in IP65 protective system. Other casings are available upon request.

The MSL600

The MSL600 continuous sludge blanket monitor uses ultrasonic pulses in tanks and basins. The detection of the sludge blanket is also possible under hard conditions. Due to graphic displays the MSL600 is also user-friendly for the display of the echo sounder profile. For the signal transmission from rotating or movable bridges the MSL600 is equipped with an integrated sensor.

The particular feature is hat the measured values can be radio transmitted up to 500m to a suitable receiver. The MSL600 excels also in the integrated automatic cleaning system in the sensor. The measuring range is between 0.3 to 7m. The unit has an adjustable 4-20 output signal and adjustable alarm/relay functions.
